The Gerber centrifuge is RZ8-M primarily used in the dairy industry for determining the fat content of milk. It is also used for other applications besides milk testing. It is commonly used for separating various types of fluids, such as blood, urine, and industrial fluids, into their component parts. The device is also used in the pharmaceutical industry to separate and purify proteins, enzymes, and other biomolecules.
The Geber milk fat centrifuge is designed for the determination of dairy fat. The instrument can test milk fat using four methods: Geber method, Ross method, Pasteur method and solubility method. With a heating function to ensure that the temperature of the milk fat tube is maintained above 50°C during centrifugation, which not only reduces the sample water bath time, but also makes the test results more reliable.
